Rules for Modern Wargaming

There are several popular rule sets available for modern wargaming, covering warfare from the late 20th century to the present day. Here are a few well-known rule sets:

Team Yankee: Team Yankee is a rule set by Battlefront Miniatures. It focuses on modern warfare during the Cold War era, specifically the fictional World War III scenario. Team Yankee allows players to simulate battles with armored forces, infantry, helicopters, and aircraft.

Force on Force: Force on Force is a rule set by Ambush Alley Games. It covers modern warfare scenarios and emphasizes asymmetrical warfare, including insurgencies and counterinsurgencies. Modern Spearhead: Modern Spearhead is a set of rules by John Curry. It covers modern warfare from the post-World War II era to the present day. Modern Spearhead focuses on command and control, combined arms tactics, and realistic representation of modern warfare at the operational level.
